Holi

Since 2015, I’ve had the joy of experiencing the Hindu festival of Holi right here in Dallas–Fort Worth. Every year, it’s a burst of color, music, and laughter — a celebration of renewal and connection that always leaves me in awe.

What moves me most are the children. They run through clouds of color with this beautiful mix of freedom and wonder — completely immersed in the moment. Through them, you can really feel what Holi represents: joy, unity, and the spirit of starting fresh.

I didn’t grow up with this tradition, but being part of it as an observer has been incredibly special. It reminds me how art and culture have the power to bring people together, no matter where we come from. These photos are a glimpse into that feeling — one of color, energy, and shared humanity.
